The Painter And The Writer Gallery view from Main Street, Maldon

The Painter And The Writer Gallery is located in the ‘1857 Upton & Son Butchers’ shop a Maldon icon; and has been lovingly restored over the past eight years, the shop houses the paintings and books of Initially No (Founder of the Sagacious Art Movement) and her husband Glenn Floyd. The heritage buildings also include Rays Stables Livery and Letting which was the livery for stagecoach horses from Melbourne to the flourishing Maldon goldfields and Beehive, South German and North British mines from 1854 to1918.

Initia and Glenn are ‘living the dream’ by painting, writing and meeting so many people from disparate countries and all walks of life visiting the lovely heritage listed Notable Town of Maldon.
